The Mary Dundee

A slaver was she
Lost off the Ivory Coast,
The devil's ship,
The Mary Dundee.
Her cargo long ago
God hath set free
And let the devil captain
That ghost ship,
The Mary Dundee.
Harken to the agonizing cry
Of sailors working her decks
As she passes by.
For pity take no heed,
For what they did
Was for pure greed.
To set course for hell
Is surely their due
For all eternity,
That wretched crew
Of the Mary Dundee.
